The 51-year-old actress had tested positive for the virus on May 19, 2025, and promptly informed her followers through an Instagram post, urging them to stay safe and wear masks.
On May 22, Shilpa shared a health update on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Finally recovered, feeling fine, thank you each one of you for your love. Have a super blessed Thursday.”
Shilpa Shirodkar, known for her roles in Hindi cinema during the late ’80s and ’90s, had recently returned to the limelight with her participation in Bigg Boss 18. Her time on the reality show not only brought her back into the spotlight but also showcased her remarkable physical transformation, as she revealed losing 13–14 kg since her time on the show.
